It was a day – and night – to remember. On Saturday 3 October, members and guests gathered beneath clear New York skies for the first-ever Soho House Festival New York, powered by Porsche, taking over the rooftop of Pier 17 in Downtown Manhattan.

Bringing the spirit of our much-loved London festival Stateside for the first time, the day was packed with live music, immersive experiences, and unlimited food and drink – all with a distinctly New York energy and 360-degree views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the East River, and the Lower Manhattan skyline. Since its debut in 2007, Soho House Festival has become a highlight of the London calendar, and this first US edition delivered the same nonstop entertainment, fun, and connection.

Whether you joined us on the day or are catching up on what you missed, take a look back at some of the standout moments – from Alanis Morissette headlining to free-flowing premium food and drinks, including pop-ups from some of New York’s most talked-about eateries.

The performances
Soho House Festival New York delivered from the moment the gates opened to the final song. Across two stages, members and guests were treated to a day of live performances and feel-good DJ sets, all against the backdrop of the New York skyline.

Over on the DJ stage, Soul Summit kicked things off with one of its signature groove-filled sets, setting the tone for the day ahead. As afternoon turned to evening, the energy never let up, with Good Neighbours, Santigold, and MGMT each bringing their own distinct sound to the decks.

Meanwhile, the Main Stage opened with an electrifying performance from London-born DJ, producer, and musician Pauli the PSM. Justine Skye followed with her blend of contemporary R&B and dance-pop sound, before The Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser captured the audience with a captivating solo outing. As the sun went down, it was time for the headline acts. Questlove kept the crowd moving with a rhythm-packed set featuring special guests including Pharoahe Monch, Pusha T, A$AP Ferg, and TV On The Radio, setting the stage for a memorable evening. The Flaming Lips then delivered the kind of live show that has earned them a reputation as one of music’s most celebrated live acts.

Closing out the festival was Alanis Morissette, whose powerhouse headline performance brought together everything from acoustic moments to beloved tracks from Jagged Little Pill. As festivalgoers sang along to classics including ‘Ironic’ and ‘You Oughta Know’, it was a fitting finale to a landmark first Soho House Festival in New York.

The food, drink, and everything else
Great music was only part of the story. Throughout the day, members and guests enjoyed unlimited food and drinks, with a line-up that brought together Soho House favourites and some of New York’s most-loved spots. Festival staples included our signature barbecue, Cecconi’s pizza, lobster, oysters and steak, alongside Tacos Domingo’s carne asada tacos, Loser’s Eating House’s supersized cinnamon rolls, Parm’s cult chicken parm sandwiches, and frozen yoghurt from MYKA.

Drinks flowed from the moment the gates opened right through to the final set, with Champagne, rosé, and more served throughout the day, as well as beer from Asahi Super Dry’s cart. Guests enjoyed Patrón cocktails, including Picantes and Palomas, and cocktails mixed with Fever-Tree, while 400 Conejos poured mezcal drinks from its dedicated bar. Mirabeau Provence rosé paired perfectly with freshly shucked Wellfleet oysters, and coffee lovers stayed fuelled with Grindin, the new coffee brand from Pusha T and Pharrell Williams. ZBiotics was also on hand with its pre-alcohol supplements, while those seeking alcohol-free alternatives could stop by LaCroix’s bar and photobooth. Elsewhere, ARMRA Colostrum handed out colostrum soda, dry scoops, and tote bags, while Bloom Nutrition distributed energy and hydration sodas.

Beyond the food and drink, there was plenty to explore across the Rooftop at Pier 17. The Porsche Pit Stop offered festivalgoers the chance to test their skills and get hands-on with driving simulators, stop by complimentary beauty touch-up stations, and recharge with a coffee. Over in the Club Room, supported by Lyft, members and guests enjoyed an exclusive menu including Grey Goose Espresso Martinis available only within the space. Elsewhere, tarot readers offered a glimpse into the future, while Poetry for Strangers added a new layer of discovery with custom poems and hand-drawn crayon portraits created as keepsakes for guests. Members could also pick up complimentary SPF from La Roche-Posay, helping them stay protected throughout the sun-soaked day.

The afterparty
While the festival wrapped at 10pm, the celebration was far from over. Across the river at DUMBO House, the official afterparty, held in partnership with Red Bull, kept the energy going well into the night. Festivalgoers were given exclusive access to an after-hours House takeover, with DJ Jazzy Jeff delivering a headline set that brought the inaugural Soho House Festival New York to a fitting close.
